No one talks about the mental toll of entrepreneurship. And most coaches and courses are treating symptoms instead of getting to the real root problem.
And I believe it ALL stems from a society that conditions us HOW to behave and WHAT to think.
Instead of being taught HOW to think for ourselves. This leads us to…
A lack of self-trust. Constantly seeking out new courses, programs, and advice instead of tuning into Wisdom.
Feeling like we are a burden. Keeping us from the support we need.
A toxic love/hate with our business. One day we are in love, the next we want to quit.
Exhausted by the weight of various roles in business AND life: mom, wife, leader, friend, CEO.
Feeling spread thin by alllll the hats: marketing, operations, admin, fulfillment, customer service, social media, sales, etc.
I could go on, but I won’t. You get the idea! I just don’t think business (or LIFE) has to be this way.
For most of my entrepreneurial journey, I struggled. Big time.
Instead of the joy-filled, freedom and flexibility I desired running my own business could give me, instead I felt trapped on a roller coaster. High highs. Low lows. Constantly being pulled in different directions. Constantly feeling behind and not enough.
I grew resentful and began despising my own brain and business. In 2022 I was ready to quit.
I thought I wasn’t cut out for entrepreneurship:
I will never be consistent enough.
I am too emotional and sensitive.
I’m not enough / and too much at the same time.
One night in December 2022, lying in bed, I decided something needed to change. What if I go all in on ME? Have I been playing small? And realized, that this energetic shift was what had been missing. I had been treating my business like my toxic ex. Hot/cold. On/off. It was time to go all in on my dreams.
Over the next 6 months, I invested in a course, hired a mindset coach, and began EFT tapping therapy. And I experienced a complete 180-degree transformation.
Fast forward to now and beyond, and I've been working on the really unsexy, consistent work of rewiring my brain and finding a new reality as an entrepreneur.
And the work is working. I went on to double my income in 2022, experiencing several 10k months and consistently bringing in 6, 7, and 8k months thereafter.
However, the results have been far more incredible than purely financial gain. I feel free. Joy is here. Business is simple. And sustainable.
Of course, there are hard days. And hard moments. And fear.
I’m not your Woo-Woo positive vibes ONLY coach. I’m here for it all.
But more than that, I have tools. I have peace, calm, and clear focus. I’m a better mom, wife, leader.
And ALL Of this - is possible for you, too. And I want it for you.
